Instructions on how to study

While reading:
Ø Make sure you’re alert
Ø Write down all the words you don’t understand
Ø Stay hydrated


While summarizing:
Ø Write down full sentences
Ø Mark the most important words and dates
Ø Write clearly

While looking at sources:
Ø Make a couple of sentences with them Try to understand what they mean to say in the source
Ø Use the five W’s
Ø Try to dig real deep, cause for some reason this History book is really deep.

While studying the difficult  words:
Ø Read through your notes from the classes Know what they mean and when to use them.
Ø Put them in Quizlet
Ø Make a couple of sentences with them

While cramming all the information into your head:
Ø Have an organized desk/study place
Ø Change location from time to time
Ø Stay hydrated (DRINK WATER) (it will prevent headaches and tiresomeness)
Ø Make sure to have enough breaks in between studying, but during your study time you HAVE to
    be studying. Don’t doze off or get distracted by your phone.
Ø Switch between different methods of studying every once in a while. Otherwise it will get boring.
Ø Know when you start and when you need to stop. This will make the studying more urgent. 

Different methods of studying:
Ø Making your summary
Ø Reading your summary
Ø Cramming dates of events in your head (quizlet helps)
Ø Study the words you don’t understand
Ø Skype with your friend (if you have friends idk) and ask each other questions about the chapter
Ø Make a timeline and study it!
Ø Read through your notes from the classes
